The Security Of Your Data Is Paramount

Before any of your data is transmitted over the internet the following occurs as outlined in the diagram below. First your data is compressed to decrease transmission time. Second it is encrypted with the method you choose during the setup of your software. Your data is sent to the backup server using a 128 bit SSL encrypted data stream. Please remember that our Remote Backup software is so secure that it is impossible for us to recover your files if you forget or loose your encryption key. You are the only one that has the key, we strongly recommend that you make a key disk during installation of the program, and that you also record the encryption key on paper and keep it in a safe place.
