If you have large databases or graphics it is impractical to back them up via the internet. The upload speed is inadequate for files 20 GB and larger. You use the copy to disk option for your backup. This encrypts your data on the local drive and stores the backup in the backup catalog on your computer and our backup server. When we receive the drive from you we copy the data into your directory on the server. You will now have access to the files like any other backup.
