The 200MB PlanThis plan is for people that use web based mail rather than an email client like Outlook, have very few photos, and have little or no music to backup. This plan is great for preserving your most important documents (birth certificates, passports, ect...) and word precessing files. It is the ideal plan for students with laptops that write reports and research papers. The loss of school related data would be catastrophic in lost hours of effort alone, not to mention the affect on the grade in a class where you had to start over on a paper. This is also an ideal plan for laptop computers for business and home users, the pricing is low enough that you can install a copy of Remote Backup on every laptop.
The 4GB PlanIf you use an accounting program like Quickbooks, Quicken, Money, have a large iTunes(or mp3) collection, and digital photos that are priceless. This plan will satisfy the majority of our home and small business clients. This is enough backup space to protect your most important data at a price that anyone can afford.
The 10GB PlanIf you have several 1000 songs in your iTunes library, a large number if important photos, or a large database. In addition if you use an email program like Outlook, Outlook Express, or Edora then you know that your email is an extremely vulnerable target for hackers, viruses, data corruption, spammers, spybots and phishing scams. This could be the plan for you if you run a small to medium size business where your email, database and word processing documents are critical to the survival of your business.
Calculating Your Storage Space NeedsYou can use the Windows Explorer to help you calculate the amount of storage you may need. For example: If you store all your business databases in a folder, you can right click on the folder, and choose properties from the menu. It will show you the number of files in that folder and the total size of all data in the folder.
Other Factors To Consider
